With over a decade of experience in counselling and working therapeutically with traumatized children and adults, Natalie has a passion for creating therapeutic experiences that are playful, but embodied and impactful.
After attaining a master’s degree, she utilized her knowledge in psychology and her training in play therapy to create dynamic therapy experiences. Furthering her education by certifying as a hypnotherapist with the IMDHA, Natalie begun to understand the importance of embodied practices in healing trauma. Jessie has a background in social work and is a senior lecturer at a university in Johannesburg. Her doctoral thesis explored the effects of complementary practices, including Breathwork, with a group of caregivers in a poor community on the outskirts of Pretoria.
